AirSwap (AST) is a platform for the exchange of tokens, mainly used for converting and trade assets Ethereum between the parties. 2017 seems to be the year of decentralized exchanges, and with AirSwap we have another entry in what appears to be a step away from moving on current exchanges like Bittrex, Binance, Poloniex and others.

As tokens take over the world, a new token economy needs decentralized exchange to thrive. AirSwap was designed from the ground up to provide privacy, security, and choice on a global, peer-to-peer trading network with no intermediaries and no trading fees. We at AirSwap truly aim to build the engine of the new token economy.
The AirSwap Indexer is like a search engine. It disseminates counterparty information publicly. Traders may then communicate price information privately with the counterparties provided by the AirSwap Indexer. Should the trader not know what price to use in negotiations with the counterparty, the trader may consult with the AirSwap Oracle.
The AirSwap Oracle provides pricing suggestions. By using the AirSwap Oracle, the AirSwap decentralized exchange enables price discovery without requiring the levels of liquidity found in large, successful centralized exchanges.
ICO
AST token was offered for token sale ICO. Pre-sale ended on October 3. Tokens were sold for more than $ 20 million.
To participate in the ICO, you needed to register in the white sheet. Registration was open from 4 to 6 October. The ICO started on October 10 and lasted until November 10, or until the goal was reached.
The upper limit to 42,000 ETH. Investments were accepted only in ETH. The ICO price of the token was 0.001 ETH.
Token distribution:
- 30% will be sold during all ICO stages
- 10% to advisors and partners
- 10% to founders and team
- 10% on new partnership agreements
- 40% will be blocked for at least 6 months.

AirSwap Coin Price
The AirSwap Token is essentially a token for professional market makers, or simply makers, on the AirSwap DEX. Makers have a cryptocurrency that they want to exchange for another cryptocurrency at a specific rate during a specified period. This is called providing liquidity. Consequently, makers are also referred to as liquidity providers.
AST is available on Binance, Huobi, Liqui, OKEx, Radar Relay, Gatecoin, IDEX, EtherDelta, and ForkDelta. It’s most certainly available at AirSwap.
