Description
Blockfolio was founded in 2014 as one of the first cryptocurrency portfolio tracking apps to deliver price information to altcoin enthusiasts. The app was initially built by Peter Lau and founded in partner with Edward Moncada, Charlie Mason and Ken Feldmen.
Blockfolio is a primary tool used for cryptocurrency tracking on mobile and is not associated with real money trading. Some cryptocurrencies trading on the app include: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) in addition to smaller altcoin projects. The app does not currently feature non-cryptocurrency assets. In 2018, Blockfolio launched a new communication platform within the app called Signal that allows cryptocurrency projects to communicate with token holders through an in-app feed. The app is available in 12 languages including: English, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Ukrainian, Dutch and Turkish
