Coin Center is a non-profit research and advocacy center focused on public policy issues facing cryptocurrency and decentralized computing technologies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Coin Center is a think tank dedicated to public policy issues related to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is located in Washington D.C., United States.
About Coin Center[edit]
One of the major goals of Coin Center is to "help shape the global regulatory debate that could decide the fate of digital currency usage in the US and abroad".
The main aims of Coin Center are:
- Educate. Educate policymakers and the media about cryptocurrency technology
- Research. Engage in policy research to develop smart regulatory approaches to questions raised by the technology
- Advocate. Advocate for those solutions in order to keep cryptocurrency networks open, decentralized, and permissionless.
