Coinify was founded in 2014. The company is based in Denmark. Coinify is led by CEO and co-founder Mark Hojgaard. Other key members include COO, co-founder and board member Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer, CTO Jeppe Nejsum Madsen, CCO Rikke Stær. and CFO Denny Fröjd.

Coinify’s services consist mainly of a Trading Platform and a Payments Platform. Within these services, there are different offerings: individual currency trading, OTC trading, payment processing services, and white label solutions via Coinify API. Coinify also regularly partners with governmental organizations, NGOs, and other corporations. Coinify company currently supports more than 20 payment systems, which are used by more than hundreds of thousands of online companies. This factor makes this company a contender for the title of the largest blockchain-a tool for the implementation of payments in Europe.

Description

Coinify has already gained significant recognition in the European market, especially after attracting large investments from the Swedish Bank SEB, which now owns the company’s share. The new partnership has established the position of Coinify in the cryptocurrency space.

Trading platform: Coinify also lets users buy and sell bitcoin using Visa, MasterCard, or a bank account. You can purchase bitcoin using credit cards and your bank account, or you can sell bitcoin and get money deposited into your bank account. Overall, Coinify claims customers experience a 3% increase in margins with fewer chargebacks. Coinify charges lower fees than traditional payment methods and banks while offering a similar level of convenience.

Payment platform: Payment service providers and merchants can accept bitcoin payments risk-free with Coinify without the worry about chargebacks or fraud when accepting bitcoin payments. Coinify also allows payments in 15 different cryptocurrencies through their payments platform.

Coinify has partnered with various walletswallets, such as Blockchain.com and more recently Abra. As a result of these partnerships, wallets will be powered by the Coinify trade engine and users will be able to almost instantly replenish their wallets through the Coinify service, sending payments in fiat currency.
