Dogetipbot
dogetipbot was a bot that for tipping dogecoins on reddit, twitch, and twitter. It began as a fork of vindimy’s ALTcointip bot, found at https://github.com/vindimy/altcointip and a lot of that code still remains in here. It’s been heavily modified over time and is released as-is.
This was the version was running on reddit until the end.
Minimal instructions are provided to ensure that you read the code and know what things do, since I don’t recommend anyone ever run a bot like this without knowing how it works. Then again, even if you do understand how it works, I don’t recommend it.
dogetipbot and ALTcointip diverge primarily on the seperation of logic between the frontend (messaging) and the backend (transactions), so that multiple frontend services (reddit, twitter, twitch, etc) can be used at once.
haikuberu is the service that runs on the server that runs dogecoind and is responsible for most of the core transactional logic. dogetipbot-reddit is the service that can run on any server and handles messaging and communication the with reddit API. dogetipbot used IronMQ to pass messages between haikuberu and dogetipbot-reddit
