Jameson Lopp is a creator of Statoshi, a fork of Bitcoin Core which analyzes Bitcoin nodes. He is also CTO of Casa, a company providing key management solutions, and founder of Mensa’s Bitcoin Special Interest Group, and was formerly employed by BitGo. Lopp is known for being a professional cypherpunk.

Jameson Lopp enjoys building technology that empowers individuals and is focused upon the evolution of Bitcoin and the crypto asset ecosystem. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others and is receptive to interviews and speaking engagements.

Jameson Lopp’s Bitcoin career started in 2015, though he had become interested in Bitcoin and its concept of money — that belongs to all people and not just a few elites — in 2012. He doesn’t remember the first time he heard about Bitcoin. When he got interested in it, he understood that it is a unique computer science solution.
