History
Lumi HD was released in 2017. The original version supported BTC and was available for iOS users [1]. Lumi later launched Ethereum for this platform. The next version was released for Android platform [2] with BTC supported. In February 2018 Lumi released ERC-20 tokens for iOS version. After these changes, Lumi Technologies launched a web interface for Lumi [3]. In April 2018 Lumi added Changelly [4] for in-app crypto conversion. Next update was released with Bitcoin Cash supported.
At the moment, Lumi Wallet is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android and web and supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS,Bitcoin Cash, ERC20.
Technical analysis
The most important thing in storing cryptocurrency is private key creation. This process happens entirely on your device, not on Lumi wallet servers. Private keys are under clients’ control, they are never sent or stored outside of their device.Therefore, when you generate a new wallet, you are responsible for safely backing it up.
