Oliver Bussmann (born 1966) is a Swiss entrepreneur who has established himself as a leading provider of technological ideas and the driving force behind major transformations in the financial services and high technology sectors.

Career

Bussmann has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Münster.

First, Bussmann held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and IBM. He then spent four years as Director of Information Technology at SAP, where he also led significant technology changes and served as Information Technology Director in North America and Mexico at Allianz.

The successes of Oliver Bussmann are generally recognized in the financial sector. He recently received the Global CIO Award from the Indian Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).

In 2012, Oliver received the European CIO of the Year award from the prestigious business schools INSEAD and CIONET.

Bussmann founded Bussmann Advisory in 2016, which offers consulting, coaching and analysis services in the field of digital information.

Oliver Bussmann now heads the Crypto Valley Association. This is a nonprofit association whose goal is to develop the blockchain technology.
